Caring Bridge for Becky Moore

Our Sister in Christ Becky is beginning hospice care tomorrow, let us redouble our prayers for her!

A friend of Becky’s, Donna, has started up a CaringBridge website to help facilitate communication and connection with Becky as she enters the final stages of life.

A CaringBridge Site was created for Becky. It‘s a caring social network to help people stay connected with family and friends during a health event.

Here is a recent post from the Caring Bridge site made by Donna:

“I started this Caring Bridge to keep family and friends informed about Becky’s condition. Most of you know that she was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer in December 2000. She has been blessed to have felt well for most of that time, apart from side effects from cancer treatment. Despite having metastases to several bones she has had no pain.

The issue now is difficulty breathing due to metastasis to the lungs. Today her oncologist said there is nothing more to be done and that she may only have 1-2 weeks left. It may be longer but it will not be a long time.

Hospice is coming tomorrow to get her set up with what she needs for comfort. She is very calm about her situation and has said she is actually relieved that she won’t have to struggle to breathe for a long time. There are family members nearby and others are making plans to visit. I arrived yesterday and will be staying indefinitely. 

Please keep Becky and all her family in your prayers.”
